How ShortCutQ Works
The ShortCutQ is a very simple self-closing gate that is placed at strategic positions in a queue barrier system so that when there is no-one in line, anyone can simply push it open and skip the empty lane. As simple as that!
It allows them to step into the empty lane letting them avoid a long walk to the far end of the aisle and back, and softly closes behind them once they are though.
This then gives the next person the option to use the queue barrier system as it was originally intended if the queue is now full, or also skip the empty lanes through the barrier if it is still empty. This can be done all the way to the front of the queue when the queue barrier system is completely empty, or up to a point at the back of the queue if not.
The gate has fantastic advertising potential and can be used as a quick exit in case of an emergency.
